Heat Resistant Alloys  

Heat resistant alloys are materials designed for use in high-stress, high-temperature environments where resistance to oxidation and thermal or tensile damage is required. These alloys are most often nickel-based (as in the case of single-phase nickel steel alloy Invar), but iron and cobalt-based alloys are also common. Other heat resistant steel alloys such as Lapelloy contain high amounts of chromium and molybdenum.

The menu below features a selection of the heat resistant alloys carried by Rickard Specialty Metals & Engineering. Our inventory also includes a large number of high temperature aerospace alloys in plate, sheet and bar form; materials can also be supplied as forgings. Heat treating and both destructive and non-destrtuctive testing such as ultrasonic, dye penetrant and magnetic particle inspection are available upon request.
