Heat Resistant Alloys  

Heat resistant alloys are materials designed for use in high-stress, high-temperature environments where resistance to oxidation and thermal or tensile damage is required. These alloys are most often nickel-based (as in the case of single-phase nickel steel alloy Invar), but iron and cobalt-based alloys are also common. Other heat resistant steel alloys such as Lapelloy contain high amounts of chromium and molybdenum.

Materials can also be supplied as forgings, and special heat treating and testing (sonic, dye penetrant, magnetic particle) are available upon request.
