Rickard Metals is proud to be playing a part in Project Constellation, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) program to create the next generation of spacecraft for human exploration of our solar system. As a NASA metal supplier, we not only provided titanium forging and fabrication for the escape mechanism on the Ares Orion rocket, but we also fabricated the static test fixture for the NASA Space Station Node 2, aka Harmony. The static testing of this module, which will serve as the utility hub of the International Space Station, helps to ensure its continued quality and performance in its position on the forward end of the Destiny research station on the ISS.
In addition to our work with titanium fabrication, Rickard Metals has extensive experience with nickel alloy forgings and other high-temperature, high-performance superalloys. We can supply semi-finished or finished parts made from titanium, aluminum or alloys such as Invar. We welcome you to further explore the product and service information we’ve provided on this site. If you require additional assistance, please call us toll-free at (800) 966-4922.
