15-5 Stainless Steel Machined Part

15-5 precipitation hardening stainless steel is a martensitic stainless steel with high levels of nickel, copper, and chromium. 15-5 steel features solid strength, toughness, and ductility, with hardness capability and excellent stress corrosion cracking resistance, making it a great option for use in high pressure corrosive environments. 15-5 stainless steel materials are commonly used in chemical and petrochemical applications, food processing, and performs exceptionally well when used for shafts, gears, valves, and fasteners. Standard Specifications include AMS 5659, AMS 5862 and more.

At Rickard Specialty Metals, we have 30+ years of experience as a 15-5 stainless steel supplier of forgings, plate, sheet and more to your custom measurements and shapes. Our forging process includes open die forgings, ring forgings and more. Additionally, we provide 15-5 stainless heat treatment. See below for a list of common 15-5 stainless steel forged shapes, including 15-5 round bar and flat bar, as well as additional product forms we offer.
